We’re delighted to welcome several students this semester who’ve joined our MRS Advanced Certificate course thanks to an MRBA Skills bursary. This follows the announcement in June by the MRBA that it has funded its first five MRBA Skills bursaries.
As reported by the MRBA, one of the bursary awardees is Alexandra Kuzmina, Research Consultant at Accelerator. Speaking about her application for a bursary, Alexandra says “I applied for the bursary because I believe the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market & Social Research Practice will help me fulfil the responsibilities of my current position in business to business market research. I also hope it will provide me with a broad grounding and understanding of the wider research landscape, and give me more confidence in dealing with clients ensuring that the insights that I provide are of the highest quality possible. The qualification will also prepare me for the next step in my career which is Research Manager level.”
Research Academy MD Mia Lorenz says “We love the MRBA! And we especially love MRBA Skills. It’s good to see such a high level of interest in the MRBA Skills scheme, as the bursaries allow a wider range of people to study for this prestigious qualification.”
If you or your employer can’t afford to have you attend one of our MRS Advanced Certificate courses, you too can apply for an MRBA Skills bursary. They’re open both to those who are new to market research, as well as those with some experience who are eager to improve their skills. Anyone who wants to study at the Research Academy can apply. You’ll need to meet certain criteria regarding income and employment, which are explained on the MRBA website.
You can learn more about MRBA Skills in this video, which also features one of our graduates, and by visiting their website at https://www.mrba.org.uk/skills/.
