Those of you who know us, know that constant improvement isn’t just an empty phrase with us. But this August, we’re really pushing the boat out with improvements to our MRS Advanced Certificate course!
We’ve spent the past year developing and testing a number of pedagogical and student welfare enhancements to the course. They’ll launch in August 2021, and they include:
- A live, online mock exam to simulate the exam, to give our students the confidence they need to perform well in the online exam format introduced by the MRS in 2020
- A group tutorial to discuss students’ performance on the live mock exam
- A revised revision schedule that mixes mock exam questions across categories, based on peer-reviewed evidence on what best helps students prepare
- Evidence-based activities proven to enhance academic performance and self-confidence, e.g. an expressive writing exercise and a revision preparedness quiz
